"Australian Bananas" Gala Dinner
Click here to view the menu created by Craig Squire for the Australian Bananas Ultra-Tropics Gala Dinner Dance on Friday 26 March at the Shire Hall.  It is a mouthwatering selection of local produce to further promise An Evening to Remember – with “The Very Best of Everything”.

Ultra Tropics BBQ Recipe Competition
This competition is a great opportunity to celebrate the many cultures in our region who incorporate tropical ingredients into their traditional dishes. To enter this competition, click here to download the entry form. The top 4 entries from each category will be invited to enter a cook off at the Innisfail Chamber of Commerce Market Day on Sunday March 28th with the assistance of local apprentice chefs.

Jenny Woodward, a well-known face from the ABC will be in town supporting the Feast of the Senses in March. Best known for presenting the weather on the ABC news, Jenny also does stories for Stateline and also has regular spots on ABC Radio and now has an online blog. She has also contributed to several books.

Feast of the Senses welcomes The Imperial Tavern as a Major Event sponsor for the ever-popular opening function : Wine, Fruit & Cheese Showcase.  This year the event will be held on the foreshore of the beautiful Johnstone River.  Tickets are $30 per person and will be available from Cellarbrations in early February.

Photography Competition

As part of the 2010 Feast of the Senses Festival, as in previous years, there is a photography competition, this year sponsored by local accountants Moore Stephens. The object of the competition is to collect 12 prize winning photos of tropical plants that will be the focus of a calendar for 2011.
