2010

The Feast of the Senses has launched a new, free activity this year – a self-drive Artists Trail to be held on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March.

The Cassowary Coast region is home to many talented artists and the Artists Trail provides an opportunity to visit twelve local artists and craft workers in their home studios or at their local work space and to view completed works and also works-in-progress.  Most artists will also have work available for sale.
The work on display will include paintings (acrylic and water colours), large murals, sculptures, textiles, pottery, jewellery, mosaics, glasswork, quilting, patchwork and beadwork.

A full itinerary of the Artists Trail with a brief description of each participating artist and details of their location and opening times is available from the Feast of the Senses website by clicking here or from the Innisfail, Tully and Cardwell Visitor Information Centres.

What a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday – enjoy some of our wonderful local artistic talent, linger over  a picnic lunch  or sample some fresh, local produce from one of our may cafes or restaurants and soak up the ambience of the ultra tropics!
